Introduction to Lessons
Before I was an author, I was a teacher.
Like most teachers, I spent hours creating resources
such as worksheets, handouts, and PowerPoint
presentations for use in my classes. However, my time is
now devoted to marketing my book and convincing people
that there are significant problems in education.
As I describe in Chalkbored, the solution is
technology. However, change will not happen overnight.
Teachers still need resources today. Since I am unlikely
to return to teaching
any time soon, it seems a
waste to let all my past work sit on a shelf (or hard
drive) collecting dust.
I will post much of my work here. More will be added
as time permits. (Please note: all materials are
intended for educational nonprofit use. Feel free to use
them in your classroom or for your personal use.
However, they are not to be shared, sold, or distributed
in any manner without permission.)
If you are a teacher, hopefully you can find a use
for these materials in your class. If you are a student,
hopefully they can help you learn. Since I taught
high school science (mainly eleventh-grade chemistry), these
resources are best suited to those classes. I hope you
find what you are looking for.
